UI’s multi-million dollar turbine project gets nixed
Summary: Students learned that the University’s proposed wind turbine project would be canceled after a meeting May 3, 2011 with University President Michael Hogan and Interim Vice President and Chancellor Robert Easter. The plan, which would have put a 1.65 megawatt turbine on the University’s South Farms, had been in the planning stages for 7 years.
